    Jim DeRogatis: World's Greatest Music Critic? Perhaps...

    So our very own Assembly member, slow motion, found this article earlier today. Chicago Sun Times writer Jim DeRogatis made a very WELL-informed judgment about Third Eye Blind in it, and seeing as how we've all got a little piss and vinegar running through us right now, I thought we'd all give him our feedback on it.     Haha, I already left him a nasty message last night.
    (I swear I tried to keep it as tasteful as possible, but c'mon, YOU try keeping your composure while having to endure that face during the entire response, lol.)
    And The Feelies are garbage, if you get a chance here, check out "Time Is Right" and then "Nobody Knows". He's all over these 2 songs' nuts, and they SOUND THE SAME lol.

    After further reflection and after hearing some songs by The Feelies, I have to say I tend to agree with Jim. I haven't actually realilzed until now how awesome of a band The Feelies are and how terrible Third Eye Blind is. Why did Third Eye Blind even get back together anyway? They're a disgrace to music, nay, I will go further. They are a charade. Always have been and always will be.

    Ever listened to one of their albums? Hell, have any of the people who agreed with you in comments listened to any of their albums? Bumble-gum pop? Never Let You Go is about the only pop-like song they've ever written. If that's what you call pop music, then you clearly know very little/nothing about music in general. Next you'll tell me Megadeth is pop, and Backstreet Boys are straight-up hip hop stars.

    3eb never broke up, never stopped playing shows to sold out crowds, and never stopped actually connecting to their fans in some way. That's why we're all here, telling you that you really need to actually LISTEN to the music you take shots at. It's not nice to follow trends and just bash bands because you saw other people do it.
