That's right. Power Rangers! As I was waiting for my "Bones" episodes to load, I decided to check out Hulu. The first thing that popped up, "The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers." My heroes. I watched it right away.

It wasn't the first season movie, but I guess the second season. How do I know that? Well, any true fan would know that Jason was the first red ranger. The yellow ranger was Asian, not African American and the black ranger was African American and not Asian. It's sad how I remember. Everything just came rushing back when the movie started.

Oh man, I was so pumped. So what if the acting was terrible, the lines were completely corny, and they back flipped everywhere instead of walking, it was awesome. Now I remember why I was so drawn in to the show as a child. I even started cheering when they saved Zordon. If you've seen it, you know all ready. If you haven't, well, what did you expect?

A trip down memory lane. Definitely needed. So awesome. I think I'm going to dress up as a power ranger for Halloween now.

By the way, Power Rangers was ridiculously racist.
The Red Ranger was part Native American. The Black Ranger was black. The Yellow Ranger was Asian. The Green Ranger was Irish. The Pink Ranger was a girl.
Also, note that the Minority Rangers (Black and Yellow) were the only ones of the original set to not get dinosaurs (They got the mastodon and saber-tooth tiger, respectively.).
Also, notice how the Red Ranger (Native American) is replaced by the White Ranger (Caucasian) as the leader of the team.
So much for subtlety.

it is so funny how the creators of that show just cannot get over it, and keep trying to bring it back.. what are we on now, like.. power rangers: space ninjas or something? kids today are just too spoiled when it comes to tv shows to appreciate the amazingness of power rangers.
