Stephan will be on NPR's show Soundcheck tomorrow.
When: Wednesday, September 30th. 2pm EST
Tune into 93.9fm or Stream it on the web here.
Stephan will be a guest with Joe Queenan, an author and humorist who wrote an article for the NY Times pondering why rock artists seek classical music. He's more critical of classical music written by rock artists (McCartney, Zappa), and has something to say about orchestral arrangements of rock music.
See here for Joe Queenan's NYT article, "Two Great Tastes (but Not Great Together)".
Who better than Stephan to engage in an intellectual discussion on the topic? The man just teamed up with Magik Magik's 30 piece orchestra to record 5 Ursa Major songs for a nonprofit EP. Should be an interesting listen!
