3eb will be shooting a music video for Bonfire this Thursday, and you can be in it! We'll be shooting a large bonfire just outside of Austin on Thursday night after the show. Come to the Stubb's show and we'll be picking people who look like they're ready to go to a massive Baccinalian bonfire--bright colors, lots of skin, don't wear black. And be ready for an all night video shoot near town.

Ohhh I'm so jealous of you guys! Too bad I live forever away from Texas. It sounds like it was an absolutely amazing experience! David, loved the pictures! Do any of you guys have more?
Geez, I always feel so lucky to love Third Eye Blind of all bands. They really care about their fans =). And just think...in ten years you guys can play 3eb tracks for your kids and show them the bonfire music video and go, "oh yeah, I'm in that"
Ahh. Again, I'm over here writhing in a combination of jealousy and genuine happiness for all of you that got to make it out there.

Yeah this definitely did not disappoint. They were totally cool about letting everyone in, I didn't even have a video pass or a duct tape vest like David haha, I just drove out there and they let me in. This was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I've been a fan of this band since 98, and it was incredible to just hang out with them and a lot of you guys by the fire all night.
I just want to say it was great meeting everyone at the concert and out at the lake for the video! I took a bunch of pictures and posted them on my blog and Flickr. Have at it!

Wow!!! Really? I mean, I'm sorry y'all weren't in the video, but don't hate! The truth is, the video was shot in Lakeway--they didn't take them to "southeast Austin." Also, my daughter was dressed in a peasant blouse and jeans--hardly "slutty" and definitely not a "teeny-bopper"--she's a UT senior! There were guys in it, too--some all the way from Oregon--not just "girls showing lots of skin." They had a blast doing it, and the band was really nice, so y'all don't listen to the haters. "Bonfire" is a great song, and most of us are looking forward to the music video.
Oh yeah...and people were SELLING their video shoot passes...yeah, real nice fans out there, eh?
