This is just a thought, and it might be a bit of a stretch, but to me Sharp Knife sounds like it could be about Arion. Like... obviously the song kinda follows in the same vein as jumper and is sort of about putting the past away, but to me maybe its saying that Arion needs to put whatever the issue is behind him, and realize that he's still got his friends in the band.
