yeah auckland is the upper half of the north island. it is the biggest city in new zealand, we have about 1.3 million people. nz only has 4 million total! yeah the wetaher should be nice in january, what are you here for? just a holiday?
you're going to the south island? nice, i have never been there myself. i live in auckland
Everyone swims around 3 events and a relay or 2 at a meet. I like to think that my coach just doesn't want to over-race us, but it's most likely because we are not fully-funded. There is not a lot of travel money floating around.
That's so many!
We have 10 meets from late October to February, but half of them are 2-3 day invitiationals, and then of course there is our conference meet. I swim a lot of backstroke, not really by choice, and also do well in free and fly (if my coach will ever put me in it).
There is a month until meets start but I am itching to race. Advil is my friend.
