How I first came to know and love Third Eye Blind:
My older cousin Ryan followed 3eb to a small extent before they released their first album. He liked them back then, although he has currently shifted preference to a different genre of music. Anyway, for my 8th birthday, I received the usual family gifts that consisted of short-lived toys and the always welcomed $50 check from the grandparents. At 8, music wasn't a really huge part of my life either. However, 2 days earlier 3eb's first album was released, and my cousin bought it for me, deciding that they would be my first real introduction to music. I listened to the CD a couple days later, again music wasn't exactly a high priority at my age. But after hearing the CD beginning to end that drastically changed.
I instantly loved at least 10 of the 14 tracks, and just like (as I assume) many of the loyal fans here felt, a quick favorite was ever-so-catchy Semi-Charmed Life. But the one song that really made a deep impression on me was God of Wine. My parents had split up a couple months before this, and I was too young to fully understand what was happening between them. But when that last track of the album began to play, it just released so many different emotions that I had been suppressing since the whole ordeal. Any sadness, self-loathing, curiosity, really any unresolved feelings that I had kept inside from those previous months just reacted and surfaced. As depressing as anyone may interpret this to be, the result of all these emotions finally being released made me feel, for lack of a better word, infinitely better. From that moment on, Third Eye Blind had not only become my favorite band, but an extraordinary part of my life.
The reasons for me loving everything that Third Eye Blind does may have matured over the years, from being able to sing along to a catchy tune they played when I was a kid, to finally beginning to truly understand the meaning of 3eb's masterpieces and the story behind it, but the one thing that will never change is how blessed I feel to be alive during the era of Third Eye Blind!
I hope to get to know and interact with all of you in the near future!

I finally got my 3eb tattoo! My friend did it, and I think he replicated the logo perfectly!

"fangirls"? I'm 21 years old. Love his music, not getting personal unlike you. Why waste time and effort being on this website then? And going as far as to waste money on a ticket to make an "ass clown" out of Stephan. Don't you have better things to do? This website is to merely celebrate their music.
You have a tattoo of third eye blind, why is your name stuck fephan? and unless you had a personl dispute with him, please don't tell me its regarding HIS business affairs that you have absolutely no idea what is truly happening.
Hey Brandon, how was your Unofficial? It sucks that Tony probably won't be there, but I can't not go see them when they're at Canopy. Hopefully I'll see you there.
yes. i figured id get a name a little less emo so people would stop using the term "emo douchebag/pussy/fag/bitch" as a derogatory term. and plus, women like drunks/addicts/assholes!
